Paris Food Television Festival
February 22-23, 2012
From the Egg to the Pyramid of Cookbooks

The next World Festival of Wine and Food Television WFWF-TV will take place under the Pyramid at Carrousel du Louvre in Paris.

The dates are Friday and Saturday February 22-23, 2013, at the same time and location as Paris Cookbook Fair. Both events are presided by Edouard Cointreau. The last meeting of food television broadcasters, producers and stars took place in October 2011 at the Beijing Opera House. It is called the "Egg" by the Chinese, the complement of the "Birds Nest" Olympic Stadium.

The focus of the WFWF-TV is the trade meeting of professionals to buy and sell food and wine television shows. There are presentations and launches, and negotiations for financing new projects and co-productions. Merchandising and sponsoring are the two keys to financing. Cookbook deals will be made easier thanks to the parallel "Paris Cookbook Fair". For the media, the food television studio built at the festival will focus the attention of journalists on the interviews, presentation and round tables. New technologies will be featured in their applications to food television, including the web and the telephone.

The Asian food television powerhouses will be present, as they requested specifically this meeting in Paris, coming from China, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Korea, India and the Middle East. The US delegation has the incentive of being the Invited Country at Paris Cookbook Fair. The Latin American feel at home in Paris. Near or far, who can miss this opportunity to combine television, cookbooks, and Paris.

The registration is very reasonable compared to other television events. It is only 350 Euros (for two persons) for a VIP Professional registration, which gives a listing in the catalogue, to make contacts and organize meetings. A Trade Stand is 1.500 Euros, with 2x2 meters, with shelves and a table for meetings. Larger stands are available.
